Head Of Sales Additives-Charlotte, NC (Hybrid)

Where the Chemistry Happens

The Head of Sales NA is a member of the global Additives Leadership Team. The position leads and develop a team of sales managers and technical sales managers. The position and team own all customer segments (direct, indirect) in region, and is responsible to build up successful and productive relationship pulling throughout the organization necessary resources (in region and globally) to grow business and customer satisfaction.

Formula for Success

  • Responsible of sales, cCM1, DSO, DIV and selling costs in the region (inc planning activities)

  • Lead implementation of all key sales processes (forecasting, SIP, reporting, sales pipeline management…)

  • Optimize channels across region to strengthen additive presence across industries and customer segments

  • Manage and develop sales/account managers, tech sales capabilities to elevate additives positioning at customers

  • Directly engage with senior stakeholders at key customers/distributors, to enhance additives position and enlarge share of wallet

  • Compile and report to marketing unmet needs and support product launches

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry and/or Business management

Experience

  • at least 10 years’ experience in Chemical and/or Business management. Developing client-focused, differentiated, and achievable solutions; proven team-leading experience with a sizable team; ED-related or downstream industry (coatings) experience is a plus

Knowledge/Skills

  • Competencies: ability to communicate with and influence all levels of the organization, including executive and C-level; ability to drive the sales process from plan to close; excellent listening, negotiation, and presentation skills

  • Language requirement: Excellent verbal and written communications skills in English
