Project Manager, Sr. (1805165) – Charlotte, NC

Where the Chemistry Happens

We are seeking a professional like you to manage large capital projects for our Dispersions, Resins, and Additives business at our Charlotte, NC Technical Center.

Formula for Success

  • Working successfully with other business colleagues and service groups such as Procurement, Engineering, R&D, and EHS, you will develop projects including conceptual and detail scopes, safety reviews, value engineering processes, design packages, cost estimates, schedules, execution plans, and technical packages.

  • Your robust project management and organizational skills in the identification of project objectives, project design, and installation activities will serve you well as you mange project KPIs – schedule, cost, functionality (scope), and safety.

  • Your effective verbal and written communication skills will be essential as you present projects to various stakeholders for project alignment and approvals.

  • Your demonstrated leadership ability will be a valued asset as you lead a project team, including BASF discipline Engineers, Procurement personnel, contract Engineers, Construction contractors, Operations and Maintence personnel, and others to work effectively to maintain a schedule while stressing the importance of safe work and a zero-incident mindset.

  • Leveraging your education in Chemical Engineering and experience in manufacturing with a Project Management focus, you will work with Operations and Maintenance personnel to commission and start up projects.
