Laboratory Coordinator (2301321)

Working Model: 100% On-Site

Location: Cornwall, ON

Where the Chemistry Happens…

As a Lab Coordinator you will provide routine testing of the wastewater treatment plant and appropriate reporting. As well as provide routine testing of plasticizer finished product shipping on days and raw materials per ISO among other responsibilities related to the job.

Formula for Success: You Will…

  • Responsible for efficient operation and reporting on the wastewater treatment pond.

  • Involved in all wastewater reduction initiatives on the plant site.

  • Responsible for setup and training on QMS, including COA’s.

  • Adhere to policies and procedures as required to ensure effective contribution to the ISO 9001 Quality Management System.

  • Ensure compliance to all BASF health and safety requirements through adherence to procedures, completion of training, routine inspections, and reporting of any incidents.

Ingredients for Success: What We Look for in You…

  • Science Degree from college or university.

  • Advanced knowledge of chemical processes and lab methodology.

  • Advanced in the use of Microsoft Office and computer literate.

  • Ability to learn BASF's Ecology, Health, and Safety Standards.

  • Knowledge of applicable Codes and Regulations and lab standards.

  • Ability to backup for other shift supervisor.
