Technical Sales Specialist – Injection Systems (1903185) – Western US and Western Canada

Where the Chemistry Happens

Working in the Underground Tunneling, Mining and Civil construction market in Western United States. This position implements the UGC strategy, supports and supervises UGC Segment Specialists. Building a solid network of contacts, delivering expertise to engineers and contractors at all levels including specifiers and project managers and decision makers. Be a key resource for Tunneling, Civil Underground projects and Mining. You will improve and maintain business at existing accounts and projects; support newly attained “major” accounts and provide onsite technical support.

You will build and provide technical and sales strategies including action plans and analysis for gaining business, which includes providing solutions and support for complex technical issues, assisting in product application (internal and external).

Responsible for maintaining industry relationships with major customers and association within the region. Ensures that Company initiatives, policies, procedures are implemented and communicated effectively to all direct reports.

This position implements and complies with Company initiatives, policies, and procedures. Maybe required to travel outside specific region to provide technical support.

Formula for Success

  • Support and supervise direct report in the Civil Underground and Mining segment; providing training and mentorship to enhance industry penetration.

  • Accountable for selling target accounts by providing account-centric product solutions, driving new technology and expanding relationships.

  • Responsible for marshaling resources and managing the process for product introductions, applications, & demonstrations.

  • Provides contractor project support with equipment and injection product line.

  • Interacts with Global UGC Technical Product team for all relevant strategic and technical issues.

  • Represents the region as a “Technical Product Specialist” being responsible for supporting Sales representatives.

  • Responsible for maintaining and expanding relationships at target accounts, engineering firms, contractors and underground construction organizations.

  • Accountable for maintaining leadership in industry organizations.
