Where the Chemistry Happens
We are currently seeking a professional like you to join our Digital Farming team as the xarvio Commercial Manager – US. In this role, you will lead and coordinate local Digital Farming product offers, launches, go-to-market strategies and channel positioning. You will establish a community of best practice for Digital Farming in the local US AP community. Additionally, you will interface closely with BASF’s digital farming teams – including commercial, product development, and R&D teams – to successfully deliver on our product ambitions.
Formula for Success
Leveraging your Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in an agriculture field (agricultural sciences, agribusiness, etc.) and a minimum of 10 years of experience in agriculture, you will lead local Digital Farming Commercial activities. This includes product offer, launches, go-to-market strategies, channel positioning, customer support, and coordination of efforts to interact with the broader US AP organization and global Digital Farming team.
Your solid analytical and decision-making skills will be essential as you identify global and local offering components (agronomic and commercial offer elements).
Working well independently with an entrepreneurial mindset, you will realize the local business plan and KPI's.
Having a minimum of 5 years of agriculture industry career experience in new business development (preferably digital business development), you will validate offer value with growers in key crops and give input to global development process.
Utilizing your strong collaboration and influencing skills, you will manage the 3rd party coordination for digital products together with BASF AP commercial team.
Applying your excellent organizational skills, you will coordinate local offer development and establish a community of practice for Digital Farming.
Relying on your solid leadership ability, you will lead the implementation and realization of local go to market, front end support and order to cash.
Your strong verbal and written communication skills will serve you well as you coordinate local market communication.
Demonstrating your ability to competently present concepts/ideas/projects clearly to gain engagement and commitment, you will support new product development e.g. outcome-based solution - healthy fields.
