Manufacturing Excellence Manager(1900934) – Erie, PA

Where the Chemistry Happens

We are seeking a professional like you to provide leadership, direction, and focus for technical development, capital investment management, and operational excellence improvements for Process Catalysts in the Erie, PA manufacturing site of North America while creating an engaged and safe work environment for our diverse employee base. In this role, you will serve as a valued member of the Site Leadership Team.

Formulafor Success

  • Your strong management skills will be a valuedasset as you manage the Quality Assurance Laboratory Engineer and Technicians.

  • As a trusted resource fortechnical/problem-solving expertise, you will work with Operations andEngineering to successfully identify ways of debottlenecking and improving asseteffectiveness.

  • As a subject matter expert, you will represent Erieto the Global Quality and Operational Excellence (OpEx) Communities withinBASF.

  • Your effective communication skills (both verbaland written) will serve you well as you successfully collaborate with multiplefunctions including, but not limited to, Operations, Supply Chain, Product Management,Research, Sales, and Technical Service.

  • Your working knowledge of Lean Six Sigma andcontinuous improvement processes will be useful as you lead the site activitiesto identify continuous improvement opportunities, develop and execute a plan toachieve them in a cost-effective and timely manner.
