Head of Sales, 3D Printing- Americas, Remote
Where the Chemistry Happens…
As the Head of Sales , your passion for the 3D printing industry will fully unlock the technology potential with key customers and will be leveraged as you develop the BASF business in NA as a solution provider for 3D printing applications. For example, you will be accountable for defining product/service offerings, marketing strategies, value pricing methodology, and sales territory plans. As a Global Industry Manager, you will create and execute the global 3D printing strategy in the Consumer Segment, developing, implementing and monitoring its 2-3 year business and operational plan. You will capitalize on your demonstrated leadership team commitment, creating a culture of empowerment, trust and accountability. Your customer centric mindset is the foundation for establishing BASF Forward AM as a trusted industry partner in the Americas.

Your tenacity and competitive spirit are critical components which you will leverage as you reach aggressive business performance targets, growing the 3D printing business in the America’s, while closing new sales targets and sustaining repeat business with existing ones
Your people leadership skills will be essential as you lead, grow and develop a diverse sales organization within the America’s (direct reporting) and our global business lines (functional reporting), fostering a culture of teamwork and start-up spirit, enabling fast and flexible reactions to a fast growing, demanding and dynamic market
Your effective communication tools and devices will creatively socialize ideas for proposal to the global management team
Your strategic direction will prove to be instrumental optimizing channel-to-market through distribution, direct, e-Commerce, service bureaus and equipment manufacturers
Your development of a stronger interface to NA customers will establish BASF as a preferred partner for development of 3D printing functional parts
Your preparation and management of the 3D printing OpEx and CapEx cost budget and the following years Sales Plan will be vital in driving the organizations performance
Your robust reporting of territory sales results, risks and mitigating actions will be presented to the global 3D printing management team
