Human Resources Manager - EM (1902383) – Florham Park, NJ
Where the Chemistry Happens
We are seeking a professional like you to join our HR team at our headquarters in Florham Park, NJ. In this role, you will be responsible for HR consulting and Talent Management.
You will use your skills and education to:
Be a partner for the Business in projects, investment projects and strategic initiatives. You will develop and maintain strong lines of communications, within your function HR and into other departments, functions and group companies.
Lead special projects w/ business and/or functions; own and lead specific HR projects in the annual HR operational plan and participate in functional and crossfunctional initiatives; ensure HR initiatives and programs align with business direction and goals.
Provide custom solutions for Division Care Chemicals.
Act as a liaison between Division and HR service platform to ensure that HR services are aligned with the needs of Care Chemicals.
Ensure pulse of organization to anticipate their needs and concerns and serve as an employee advocate when necessary.
Review and benchmark the internal and external environment to improve HR processes and initiatives
Ensure timely completion of annual HR processes (performance evaluation, merit increases, talent planning, personnel planning, etc.).
Seek alignment on new or changed processes on a regional and global scale.
Demonstrate the ability to influence decisions on issues, learnings, and processes.
When you delegate tasks, you are able to review the work and provide feedback.
Support, monitor and develop concepts for talent identification
Support talent management and planning to meet current and future business needs. Participate in the staffing process
Partner with leaders to ensure a strong leadership, empowerment, and inclusive culture
Offer full transparency on and steer internal talent pools and development measures
Have responsibility for personnel conclaves of Care Chemicals in North America and implement measures in order to develop talent within EM and also cross-divisionally
Coach Talent and Managers on competencies and development needs
Represent the topic talent development for North America (EM) and ensure global alignment within Division Care Chemicals
10 years of related experience
Ability to manage projects and achieve objectives using your own judgement and planning
High degree of human relations skills
