North America Demand and Supply Planner (2201486) - Florham Park, NJ - Hybrid

Where the Chemistry Happens

We are seeking a professional like you to join our team as a North America Demand and Supply Planner and be responsible for overseeing the forecasting and collaborative demand planning, as well as supply replenishment processes for our Fuel Additives and PIB portfolios.

In this role, you will also oversee small tolling activities for the Oppanol product line, as well as coordinate shipments of HM PIB from a 3rd party source. In addition, you will be responsible for data analysis within the demand planning area, ensuring continuous improvement of the planning process and data accuracy.

Formula for Success

  • Leveraging your background in Supply Chain, Business Logistics, Business Management, Operations, or related field, you will be responsible for all Demand Planning activities for the Fuel Additives and PIB portfolios, including developing and distributing the monthly Sales Forecasting process, Demand Validation Reviews, and associated KPIs. A degree in Supply Chain or related field is highly prefered.

  • Demonstrating your thorough understanding of Supply Chain concepts and the Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process and Material Requirements Planning (MRP), you will be responsible for Supply Planning activities for a set of PIB and Refinery Additive imports.

  • Relying upon your experience working in Supply Chain, Operations, Business Logistics, Customer Service, or a related field you will create Purchase Orders considering the forecast, backlog, availability of material, and objectives.

  • Applying your robust knowledge of SAP R/3 and or ERP systems, you will utilize SAP MRP to execute process, as well as be responsible for inventory health of the distribution centers under their control.

  • Your knowledge of querying, database, and spreadsheet applications will serve you well, as you are responsible for for all Master Data activities related to articles in area of responsibility, including Steering Tables, statistical modeling, location mapping, material master and supply planning data, and the article extension process via Bizagi. You will also be responsible for analyzing Delivery Reliability data to ensure customer expectations are being met appropriately within area of responsibility.

  • Displaying your continuous improvement mindset and ability to act as a change-agent and drive process improvement and optimization, you will utilize ABCxyz analysis and other tools to develop an appropriate Stocking Strategy for all responsible articles with buy-in from the Commercial Team as needed.

  • Your excellent communication skills and ability to work across multiple locations will be key, as you work across functions to ensure the customer experience is being enhanced, as well as compare DR data to NPS data to develop action planst.

  • Combining your ability to analyze large data sets and report out to non-Supply Chain individuals, you will assess inventory levels, sales, and future demand to ensure the right balance of inventory levels at all responsible distribution points. You will also manage inventory performance vs. the target and ensure that inventory levels stay on track with target, as well as dysfunctional inventory in conjunction with the Commercial organization.

  • Your outstanding organization skills will serve you well as you are responsible for the Tolling Management activities for a set of chipped Oppanol products, including production planning activities, and relationship management. You will also function as the primary NCM investigator for all product availability related NCM's related to portfolio of responsibility

  • Utilizing your exceptional collaboration and interpersonal skills, you will interact with Customer Service on backorder issues, as well as be responsible for maintaining HOM Report daily with customer order status so that all orders can be confirmed within 24 hours.
