Regional Sales Manager, Formulation Technologies (1901899) –Florham Park, NJ

The BASF division of Care Chemicals offers a broad range of ingredients for personal care, home care, industrial & institutional cleaning, agricultural chemical additives and other industrial applications. We support our customers worldwide with innovative and sustainable products, solutions, and concepts. The division’s high-performance product portfolio includes surfactants, emulsifiers, polymers, emollients, chelating agents, cosmetic active ingredients, and UV filters. As the Regional Sales Manager for Formulation Technologies in North America, you will lead a team of five sales professionals in a growing market by understanding customer needs and facilitating the sales of a strategic, profitable product mix through collaboration with Marketing, Technical, and Product Management.

  • As a seasoned people manager, youwill articulate and prioritize business requirements to achieve a CustomerFirst mindset and a collaborative team environment. Success will depend onsales, marketing, new business development, and technology teams working togetherto understand and fulfill unmet customer needs.

  • Your professional selling,negotiation, and relationship-building skills will be a valued asset as youcultivate high-level relationships with key customers, as well as effectivelysell the value of Care Chemical's product portfolio.

  • Your demonstrated account managementcapabilities will be critical to our success as you will identify, promote, andcapture new opportunities at developmental accounts, and drive opportunities toclosure through strong pipeline management.

  • Your strong business acumen andstrategic thinking skills will be essential as you implement theindustry-focused business strategy and ensure regional account plans withrobust action plans are fully executed.

  • As a self-directed leader that has a track record of delivering results, you will motivate the sales team to achieve maximum effort and increase the efficiency of accountmanagers and also provide individual coaching for personal development.
