Regulatory Affairs Team Lead (2001502) – Florham Park, NJ
Where the Chemistry Happens
We are seeking a professional like you to be part of a team responsible for the regulatory support of the BASF Care Chemicals product portfolio, with an emphasis on our Home Care and I&I, AgChem Additives, and Industrial Formulator products areas. In this role, you will lead the team of regulatory professionals dedicated to these products including the Product Regulations Specialist and the Regulatory Support Specialist. Additionally, you will provide support to the business by working cooperatively with various departments throughout BASF and the other NA EM regulatory team members.
Formula for Success
Your education in a technical discipline (Chemistry, Toxicology, Biology, or other closely related technical field) and professional background in the field of regulatory for agricultural chemistry, home care products and I&I or related products will be a valued asset as you manage all regulatory topics related to the this diverse product line.
Your demonstrated ability to interact effectively and professionally with customers, regulatory agencies, and trade associations will be key to your success in this role.
Driving strategic decisions for the business, you will support effortstomonitoranddriveimprovementsagainstkeyperformanceindicatorsthatobjectivelymeasure response time to Care Chemicalcustomers.
Successfully engaging across the organization, you will obtain or develop regulatory statements in support of sample or product importactivities, coordinate with manufacturing sites to ensure all applicable registrations arecurrent, and work with marketing to develop and review product literature.
Utilizing your high level of computer and written proficiency, you will manage relevant entries into internal and customer specific databases in support of the Care Chemicals customer segmentation strategies.
