Senior System Engineer (1802209) – Florham Park, NJ
Where the Chemistry Happens
In this role, you will manage and maintain the global Active Directory and PKI services in the BASF IS Infrastructure landscape. In case of incident, you will ensure restoring normal application services as quickly as possible and minimize adverse impact on operations, including problem management, change management (e.g., small business requests), and continuous service improvement (CSI).
In addition, you will ensure global integration of all services in the delivery network (contains operational supplier management) including technical gatekeeping; identifying, controlling, recording, reporting, auditing, and verifying Configuration Items (CIs) (e.g., versions, baselines, constituent components, attributes, relationships, hierarchies). You also will define the handling and escalation of operational security breaches.

Formula for Success
Leveraging your technical training and extensive professional experience in the IT sector, you will process complex requirements and changes, as well as perform quality assurance and produce document of system changes.
Your strong knowledge of Microsoft products and services will be a valued asset as you will be accountable for planning, installing, configuring, and operation complex IT systems in the area of Microsoft Active Directory and Microsoft PKI, as well as manage related customer projects or international subprojects.
Acting as a role model, you will provide consulting and customer support for the business, and mentor all levels of System Engineers within the team.
Your solid attention to detail will be a plus as you execute reports, cost controls, service documentation, and overall design and planning duties.
Successfully engaging inside and outside the organization, you will provide business-oriented and operative management of external service providers, as well as ensure knowledge-building and transfer within the IS community.
As a trusted advisor, you will monitor compliance with all SLAs, KPIs, and QLAs.
