We are seeking to hire a Supply Chain Planner to support our Home and Personal Care product lines.
In this role, you will be responsible for managing all processes and systems used for supply management of the given portfolio. This includes order execution (import and/or domestically produced), management of inventory, inventory disposition strategies, KPI performance, master data management (as it relates to materials management and planning), identification and resolution of demand/supply imbalances, and being a key contributor to the S&OP process. The role requires collaboration with Customer Care, Logistics, Procurement (in some instances), Product Management, and Global Source partners. This position reports to the Supply Chain Manager.
Leveraging your education (preferably in Business,Logistics, Supply Chain or a related field) and experience in Supply Chainor business-related field (ex: Customer Care, Supply Chain, ProductManagement, Procurement, Operations, Production), you will manage supplyand inventory balance for the assigned product portfolio and manage inventorylevels throughout the Supply Chain, consistent with targets.
Your excellent internal and external customer focuswill be evident as you manage the replenishment of products using netteddemand in support of inventory targets and delivery reliability goals.
Your ERP experience (SAP preferred) will serve you wellas you monitor orders, stock status, and MRP exception messages in SAP,ensuring products are available to support business plan.Additionally, you will use this experienceto manage and pro-actively audit master data in SAP (R3 and SNP),including purchasing agreements, ATP, article extensions, etc.
Your strong communication and interpersonal skills willbe a valued asset as you interface with Customer Support regardingavailable to promise and backorders.
Successfully engaging with Product Management andGlobal Supply partners (or Procurement, if applicable), you will identify,negotiate, and bring to resolution any demand/supply imbalances.
Your demonstrated ability to make value-addedcontributions in cross-functional project teams will be essential as you identifyand manage dysfunctional inventories and recommend and pursue appropriatedisposition.
Your proven experience in driving innovation andcontinuous improvement will be vital as you drive planning improvements toprevent development of dysfunctional inventory.
Using your strong computer skills in Microsoft Officeproducts (Excel and Access preferred), you will analyze KPI trends toidentify areas of opportunity and implement improvement where applicable.
Demonstrating your strong analytical thinkingcapability and proven ability to work effectively in a team environment,you will actively engage in the Sales & Operations Planning process bypreparing relevant data, updating KPI's (inventory analysis, short supply,HOI, etc.), and representing the supply planning function by participatingor possibly facilitating the monthly meetings.
