VMI Supply Chain Planner III (2200050) – Florham Park, NJ

Where the Chemistry Happens

We are seeking a professional like you to join our team! In this role, you will be responsible for managing the supply replenishment for our Fuel Performance Packages portfolio, including managing the inventory levels of our Vendor Managed Inventory customer base. You will also be responsible for enhancing the customer experience and performing order to cash activities to service this customer base. This hybrid role is responsible for managing the production planning for our Fuel Performance Packages production at the Geismar, LA site, including ordering of raw materials, production planning activities, and relationship management. This role will lead discussions and manage the aggregated view of production output for our Geismar manufacturing site through cross-functional/ cross-BU collaboration.

Formula for Success

  • Your expertise in Supply Chain Planning will be essential as you manage the overall production plan of Fuel Performance Packages considering lead times for import materials, the forecast, backlog, availability of material, and available capacity.

  • Your superior communication and planning skills will serve you well as you lead the Production Planning activities for Fuel Additive products produced in Geismar, LA and Tolling Management activities for our corresponding 3rd party tollers, including ordering raw materials, production planning activities, and relationship management.

  • Leveraging your exceptional customer focus and analytical strengths, you will assess inventory levels, sales, and future demand to ensure the right balance of inventory levels at all VMI customer locations and distribution points ensuring optimal inventory performance.

  • Your deep understanding of the Order to Cash process will be valued as you manage Fuel Performance Package customer orders according to best practices that enhance the customer experience including Sunset Rule adherence, accurate order validation, proper date management, prompt exception management, consistent order monitoring and communication of order status to the customer through to delivery.

  • Demonstrating your strong collaboration skills and your commitment to continuous improvement, you will participate in the S&OP (leading the process where appropriate) and work with the output of the S&OP to optimize planning and align with both manufacturing and affiliates. You will use your analysis of inventory levels to balance working capital goals with delivery service reliability and capability.

  • Your commitment to the customer experience will be critical as you identify, escalate, troubleshoot, and resolve customer issues.

  • Utilizing your ability to build strong customer partnerships and relationships, you will analyze Delivery Reliability data to ensure customer expectations are being met appropriately within your area of responsibility.

  • Your ability to navigate and network across functions to develop and implement NPS action plans to continuously improve the customer experience will be highly valued.

  • Your proactive attention to detail will be essential as you maintain material master data and customer master data for products and customers within your responsibility.
