Where the Chemistry Happens

Gulf Coast Technical Development Program (TDP) 2021-Electrical Engineering-Freeport, TX

We are seeking Electrical Engineering candidates like you who are interested in developing their career in Instrumentation/Electrical Maintenance and Control Systems. Our Technical Development Program offers entry-level Engineers the ability to develop their Engineering knowledge and skills by providing hands-on training and guidance from experienced mentors. The Technical Development Program is designed to provide you with 2-3 rotations within different areas of the Freeport site in order to gain insight and understanding into your areas of interest.

Formula for Success

  • With the completion of your degree in Electrical Engineering between December 2020 and June 2021, you will have the ability to rotate through different areas of the plant such as instrument and electrical engineering, control systems, plant automation, project engineering, and turnaround and outage engineering.

  • With your relevant work experience, co-ops/internships and leadership capabilities you will be able to develop your technical knowledge in Instrumentation/ Electrical Maintenance and Control Systems.

  • With your academic performance of a 3.0 (minimum) or higher you will be able to successfully engage with others on topics relevant to plant operations.
