Where the ChemistryHappens
We are seeking a professional like you to drive reliability by using the most appropriate and effective tools and techniques. You will provide technical support to Production and Maintenance personnel, lead or participate in Root Cause Failure Analyses, and monitor KPI data for early identification and resolution of reliability issues. You will collaborate with Production and Maintenance personnel and provide services related to design, review, repair and maintenance, including predictive/preventative maintenance activities. You will supply technical support to troubleshooting of problems and optimization of PM and PdM programs. Additionally, you will ensure a culture of continuous improvement employing LEAN Manufacturing tools.
Formula for Success
Leveragingyour educational background in Engineering (preferably Mechanical or Chemical),along with your experience in a chemical/petrochemical or manufacturingenvironment in maintenance and/or reliability, you will provide mechanicalreliability engineering expertise to the site.
Yourability to work with Asset Effectiveness resources will allow you to identifyimprovement opportunities and propose and implement sustainable solutions forrotating and fixed mechanical equipment.
Yoursolid understanding of maintenance and reliability work processes, as well asyour strong background in equipment troubleshooting (including root causefailure analysis and implementation of improvement efforts), is essential inthe resolution of reliability issues.
Your background in the utilization of PdM tools (i.e vibrationanalysis, lube oil analysis, thermograph) for equipment condition evaluationand improvement will help you be successful in your role.
Demonstrating your experience in the optimization of equipment PMactivities and strategies and your knowledge and experience to provide technical guidance to the operations and maintenance teams that you support.
Yourthorough knowledge of mechanical equipment design and detailed understanding ofmaintenance and reliability activities associated with process equipment suchas centrifugal pumps, piping systems, pressure vessels, (including heatexchangers), atmospheric storage tanks, positive displacement pumps, reliefdevices and compressors of various design is essential when providing technicalsupport to Production and Maintenance personnel.
Yourgeneral knowledge of reliability tools such as bad actor program management,FMEA, equipment criticality, and equipment strategies will allow you to providesupport to troubleshooting of problems.
Communicating effectively with facts and figures, along with yourability to influence, persuade, and negotiate with the teams that you support.
