We are looking for an Outage Planner/Coordinator – Piping to join our CP team.

We are seeking a professional like you to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for outage coordination, service PR creation and fixed mechanical planning. This includes generating work steps with labor, material, equipment and services, estimating labor and material costs; creating job packets for field execution and continually improving job plans via updates based upon feedback from the Execution Teams. Develop and implement continuous improvements in the planning process. Reviewing all craft plans being imported into P6 for continuity and standard nomenclature.

As an Outage Planner/Coordinator- Piping, you will

  • Be accountable for planning and estimating work orders for project work.

  • Analyze, estimate and prepare Task Lists (Model Work Orders) for jobs that are part of Preventive Maintenance program and prepare Task Lists for other repetitive jobs not included in the PM program.

  • Compile and update information on project work orders, work history, costs, and actual work performed.

  • Create purchase requisitions and reservations for necessary materials, equipment or services and orders material. Additionally, you will coordinate purchase requisitions / purchase orders and expedite orders to assure scheduled delivery for outages.

  • Plan work with norm-based tools.

  • Coordinate site logistics activities in support of outages and provide supplemental execution support for business led outages.

If you...

  • Have strong skills in planning and estimating, time management, procurement, material control/expediting, and project execution

  • Are proficient with computer systems and associated software, including SAP and Microsoft Office

  • Own experience in all aspects of hot work such as but not limited to reading/creating isometric drawings for fabrication, ability to reference pipping specs, knowledge of basic welding procedures and NDE associated with new fabrication and equipment and pipping repairs.

  • Possess strong knowledge of the purchasing process

  • Have strong organizational and communication skills

  • Own strong field supervision skills

This position requires all candidates to either currently possess or obtain and maintain a TWIC (Transportation Worker Identification Credential) Card from the U. S. Department of Homeland Security.
