We are seeking a professional like you to join our team as a Senior Data Scientist.
Formula for Success
Leveraging your master’s degree (PhD preferred) in Data Science, Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics or related field, you will work with a team of data scientists, engineers, and other operations team members to apply data science to real problems to find real solutions. You and the team will be responsible for translating those solutions into practical and interactive interfaces for the operations community in a predominant manufacturing environment (a Bachelor’s degree with several years of proven experience would also be extremely helpful).
Your hands on experience with python coding and machine learning will be leveraged in building solutions involving state of the art libraries and technology.
While being part of our dedicated AI team you will leverage your working experience and knowledge in agile methodologies (e.g. Scrum and DevOps) concepts.
- Your familiarity with core solutions (examples: OSI PI, AspenTech, Trendminer) will help you in the discussions with the internal business partners understanding their needs and requirements in order to develop sustainable industry solutions.
- Your understanding and experience with predictive analytics, including machine learning and time series techniques, will enable you to collect domain knowledge in discussions with our plan manager in order to solve unique manufacturing challenges.
- Successfully engaging within the organization, you will interact with other application workstream leads within the North American and Global Digitalization and Technology Teams.
- Your ability to analyze stakeholder requests and develop business cases as well as your engagement in sharing and teaching best practices in predictive analytics and coding are a plus.
