Technology Team Leader, Polyalcohols(1901207) – Freeport, TX
Wherethe Chemistry Happens
We are seeking a professional like you to lead and manage the Technology Team for the Polyalcohols facility. This is a strategic position focused on the identification and implementation of projects that support and enable the manufacturing team to achieve the overall business goals with respect to manufacturing Polyalcohols safely, efficiently, and at the lowest cost.
Formula for Success
Your demonstrated ability to lead a team will serve you well as you develop high-performance teams that deliver positive results related to the enhancement of ideas generated by the technology team. This role will have you performing traditional management duties associated with leading a technical team.
Leveraging your education in Engineering (preferably Chemical) or a related technical discipline combined with your experience in a chemical/petrochemical or similar manufacturing environment, you will ensure the development and implementation of new innovations in production, cost, quality, safety, and people.
As a role model, you will mentor the development of the culture of innovation and growth within design technology.
Striving for innovation, you will be accountable for identifying and implementing best in class process technology.
Working strategically, you will develop and share your knowledge base of internal technology and external (competitor) technology. You will use this base to seek out opportunities for improvement.
Any knowledge and understanding you have of Process Safety Management will be a valued asset as you will be responsible for maintaining unit process safety documentation, automation strategy, and capital manufacturing representative responsibilities.
