Value Based Engineering/Quality Coordinator- (1802521) – Freeport, TX
Where the Chemistry Happens
We are looking for a candidate like you to support the capital investment portfolio at our Freeport, TX, site. If you have a strong background in capital project execution and are interested in enabling our Site Engineering team to deliver high quality capital projects; improve global, regional, and site project processes; and drive continuous improvement within Site Engineering, we want you on our team!
Formula for Success
You will lead capital project process development and improvement within the Freeport site.
You will collaborate with counterparts throughout the region and globally to develop and improve capital project and project management processes and requirements.
You will assist and mentor project managers on capital project development and execution while also collecting and disseminating best practices and lessons learned throughout the site.
You will develop and deliver training to engineering and business unit leadership and other stakeholders on effective capital project execution.
You will collaborate closely with your counterparts at the BASF Geismar site to ensure processes are aligned across both sites while leveraging the lessons learned and best practices of each.
Your deep commitment to maintaining a safe and productive workplace will be critical as you ensure compliance with all BASF policies, procedures, and technical standards.
