We are seeking a professional like you to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for optimization and fulfillment of electrical and instrumentation job plans and support the project controls effort in the Engineering and Maintenance Shared Services Group.
As a ACS Planning Specialist, you will create chemistry by
Leveraging your strong skills in planning and estimating, time management, procurement, material control/expediting, and project execution will be an asset as you will be accountable for providing supplemental planning and estimating for work orders related to small electrical capital project and routine maintenance work.
Applying your prior work experience in a maintenance and project environment, you will identify opportunities for continuous improvement in the execution of job plans, including materials used, man hours, sequence of activities, and support services by helping to institute norm-based planning.
Using your strong communication ability, you will engage across the businesses to clarify capital project needs and schedules to ensure prompt and timely service for all customers as well as minimize maintenance work backlogs.
Your strong organizational skills will be essential as you plan/review plans for electrical work with norm-based tools and coordinate scope review meetings and bid reviews for project work requests.
Leveraging your proficiency with MS Office and computer maintenance management systems (e.g. SAP), you will compile and update information on project work orders, work history, costs, and actual work performed.
If you...
Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management, Electrical Engineering, or related field preferred, however, experience to be considered in lieu of degree.
Experience with E&I Planning.
Proven track record of understanding customer expectations and prioritizing tasks accordingly.
Strong communication skills.
Proficiency with MS Office Suite. SAP, Power BI, and P6 knowledge is a plus.
