We are seeking a professional like you to be responsible for the global coordination of BASF’s production plants where our Pharma products are manufactured. You will be the primary contact for marketing, supply chain and quality as well project management for our Pharma products which are sold by Pharma Solutions.
This position reports to the Senior Manager Transfer Products Pharma, Germany.
As a Manager Transfer Products Pharma (Hybrid), You Create Chemistry By...
Managing the production of Pharma Solutions products globally, maintaining regular contact with our transfer partners in different BASF Operating Divisions (e.g. Chemical Intermediates, Care Chemicals, Performance Chemicals), and participating in S&OP meetings between Pharma Solutions and transfer partners.
Providing support for trouble shooting and non-conformance issues.
Aligning reporting, communication channels, and operative objectives between Pharma Solutions and transfer partners.
Working with plant management to develop the yearly capital and maintenance budgets and align on long term plant development (e.g. Asset Target Picture, Asset Development Plan, Business Continuity Management)
Supporting the application and development of capital projects and being responsible for project implementation on time and within budget.
Collaborate with operations, business, and quality functions of G-ENP and our transfer partners.
Providing project coordination for different projects at our transfer partner plants
Facilitating best practice sharing regarding project application, project management, EHSQ, and operational findings.

Hold a bachelor’s degree in engineering, chemistry or a related discipline
Possess experience and technical knowledge developed in a production or engineering role
Have previous experience in capital planning and project management
Possess the ability to communicate effectively and influence others over whom you have no direct authority
