Where the Chemistry Happens...

As a member of the Surfactants Technology Team, you will leverage and develop your in-depth technical knowledge, and apply it to your work and management of capital projects, reliability improvements, PSM activities, especially around MOC, safety reviews, and process safety information. You will assist the Daily Operations Team (DOT) in technical troubleshooting and participate in weekend on-call rotation. You will participate in the coordination of production, maintenance, technology improvements, health and safety, ecology, quality assurance, and work closely with DOT members in a high-performance fast-paced Team Environment insupportof the Care Chemicals business.

Formula for Success...

  • Leveraging your education, strong process engineering foundation and extensive professional experience as a subject matter expert within a chemical/petrochemical or manufacturing environment, you will plan, scope, and implement capital projects within the constraints of an operating plant.

  • You will manage multiple high-complexity projects ranging from $100K to $5M or more in capital spending, and complete Management of Change documentation regarding capital projects and process improvement.

  • Your stronginterpersonalskills will be valued as you effectively interact with the Daily Operations Team (DOT), DailySupportTeam (DST), multiple disciplines in Technical Engineering Services (TES), TechnologySupportTeams (TST), and Global Technology Team (EMT).

  • Your strong technical skills will be essential as you help troubleshoot problems in the different manufacturing areas andsupportProduction Engineers to optimize unit operations.

  • Successfully engaging across the organization, you will work with global Technology & Operations to develop and deliver scope, safety concepts, schedule, and project cost estimates for strategic capacity increase, cost savings, reliability, and safety improvement projects

If you have...

  • A Bachelor’s degree and or advanced degree in an Engineering discipline preferably Chemical Engineering.

  • Experience within a chemical manufacturing environment as a technology engineer, process engineer and or production engineer with a minimum of 5 years experience preferred

  • Experience with Aspen ,HYSYS is a plus

  • Strong technical and troubleshooting skills.
