Technology Staff Engineer (2103218) – Geismar, LA
Where the Chemistry Happens
We are seeking a professional like you to utilize in-depth technical knowledge for areas of responsibility and to work co-located with the Operations team. You will be responsible for capital projects, reliability improvements, process optimizations, automation strategies, and process safety improvements. You will be responsible for management of PSM/RMP activities, especially around MOC, safety reviews, PHAs, and process safety information. You will assist the Daily Operations Team in technical troubleshooting, support global technology initiatives, and participate in the on-call rotation. You will participate in a high-performance team environment including daily production, technology, maintenance, health and safety, ecology, quality assurance, and engineering. You will contribute to our customers success by supporting the Methylene Diphenyl Diisocyanate (MDI) Value Chain.

Leveraging your educational background in Chemical Engineering discipline as well as your professional experience within a chemical/petrochemical manufacturing environment, you will drive innovation by developing creative solutions and serving as a Manufacturing Representative to plan, scope, and implement capital projects within the constraints of an operating plant.
By taking entrepreneurial action to achieve targets, you will manage multiple projects and complete Management of Change for capital projects and process optimization.
Your strong interpersonal skills will allow you to collaborate with cross-functional and high-performance teams and to create an inclusive environment by valuing people above all else.
