What you can expect

Quality standards are driven by the Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEM) and are governed by Quality Management Systems, e.g. of the VDA (Association of the Automotive Industry). Our unit European Quality ensures a high product quality and customers satisfaction for our European clients with the goal to be recognized as the top-quality performer in the market.

  • As Regional Quality Manager (m/f) you will be responsible for leading the quality organization across the EMEA region with manufacturing sites in Europe and Africa.

  • You will push the organization to have a pro-active quality mindset, promote the awareness of customer requirements and you will support and coach the Plant Quality Managers.

  • Furthermore, you will implement Quality Management Systems (QMS) and ensure that local policies and procedures meet global standards.

  • When dealing with customer and critical supplier issues you will be the highest regional quality executive. You will drive efficiencies to react to short term quality issues.

  • You will identify ongoing structure and process improvements to reduce quality costs while improving quality effectiveness.

What we expect

  • You have a Master*s degree or PhD, preferably in an engineering or scientific discipline with a strong technical background, and long-standing experience in quality management, product stewardship or continuous improvement.

  • Additionally, you have three years minimum leadership experience in a complex, cross regionally and cross culturally organization and you are familiar with risk and project Management.

  • Experiences in the automotive market and knowledge of Six Sigma are a plus.

  • You are willing to make difficult decisions and you have the engagement to drive changes even in difficult times.

  • Lastly, you know how to keep your team motivated and you are able to establish an appreciative working environment.
