This position will be responsible for developing business cases to achieve decarbonization using different technologies while meeting business objectives.As a Business Development Manager CO2 you will work very closely with different business functions to identify, develop and secure business opportunities to reach project completion. Other key activities include evaluating partnerships, investments and acquisitions as well as conducting market research and leveraging grant funding opportunities.

As a Business Development Manager CO2 - Houston, TX, you create chemistry by...

  • Developing business cases to determine best route for CO2 reduction while delivering on business objectives.

  • Identifying and evaluating opportunities for partnerships, acquisitions and investments that support our CO2 reduction roadmap.

  • Building strong relationships with customers, understand their unique needs, and offer solutions that align with their sustainability goals.

  • Working collaboratively across the CP organization and other business units to align marketing efforts with sales, R&D, technical service, product management, and other key functions.

  • Developing value-based pricing strategies and value proposition messaging to communicate the sustainability benefits of our products to customers

  • Utilizing data-driven analytics and market research to gain deep insights into market trends, regulatory changes, customer behavior, and competitive dynamics.

  • Identifying and applying for various grants and other potential funding sources that meet the organization’s needs, overseeing the grant process from beginning to end. Provide reporting of grants to reporting agencies and supervisor.

If you...

  • Hold a Bachelor of Science Degree in a related scientific discipline (e.g. Engineering, chemistry, sustainability)

  • Have a minimum of 8 years of experience in development and implementation of business development concepts

  • Have knowledge and experience working with voluntary sustainability and due diligence standards, frameworks, and certification schemes.
