Together, let us keep the heart beating one creative solution at a time! We are seeking a professional like you to serve as a member of the Industrial Petrochemicals Controlling Team and as such provide input and participate in making key management decisions of the Superabsorbent business.

In this role you will support the Head of the North American Superabsorbent Business Unit in controlling activities analyzing, reviewing, and reporting financial data. You must create realistic, yet challenging budgets for the business, formulating both operating and strategic plans. You will take an active role in supporting the business in establishing actions that will translate different coordinated initiatives into the desired outcomes of the business measured in the key KPI’s.

As a Controller - Superabsorbent, You Create Chemistry By...

  • Managing the monthly closing process, reviewing all aspects of the financial closing to ensure the accuracy and deep understanding of reported results and facilitate the timely dissemination of financial information.

  • Taking ownership and accountability for the adequacy of all financial controls and systems within the Superabsorbent business in North America.

  • Being responsible for the quality and integrity of financial reporting and analysis, leading complex projects and initiatives.

  • Creating recommendations and help the team to proactively meet financial objectives assisting in the evaluation strategic initiatives and develop recommendations to support decision making/planning.

  • Developing, analyzing, and interpreting accounting information for management in forms of costs, operating plans, policies and trends also you will you to analyze, forecast, budget, summarize and present/report costs on a monthly basis to site/business/corporate management.

  • Serving as a change agent within the business to proactively identify, communicate and implement opportunities for key process efficiencies to improve overall business/financial operations.

  • Coordinating and owning business reviews, monthly forecasting, annual operating plan, and strategic planning processes for the supported businesses. This includes timely preparation, integrity, and accuracy of reporting along with thorough analysis of results and projections for the future to facilitate effective management decision making.

  • Supporting the Sales & Marketing functions with analytical tools and processes.

If you...

  • Have a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance.

  • Possess analytical and computer skills (particularly Excel, SAP & Power BI).

  • Are able to work in a cross-functional, diverse team of professionals.

  • Count with proven knowledge of accounting principles, practices and procedures as well as site cost accounting experience.
