Customer Care Account Representative (1903387) – Houston, TX
Where the Chemistry Happens
We are looking for a talented professional like you to be the primary point of contact for communications and escalations as it relates to daily fulfillment and execution of activities supporting our customers throughout the order fulfillment life cycle. You may also support the business in managing administrative tasks.
Formula for Success
Leveraging your education and your experience in customer service, you will manage complex projects and timelines for Customer Care including organizing clear key deliverables, establishing and meeting deadlines, action item management and resolution, information sharing with stakeholders, decision-making, collaboration, and final presentation.
Your strong ability to interact with the customer in a helpful and friendly manner and to understand customer needs will be essential as you develop and maintain customer relationships.This includes providing consistent quality service and acting as a liaison for customers and external service providers.
Your knowledge and understanding of supply chain processes and materials planning will be a valued asset as you effectively and efficiently manage order to cash process activities such as expediting, basic returns, back order monitoring, sample and zero-dollar orders, consignment order process, and removing obstacles that may impact customer requirements and BASF’s ability to satisfy them.
Your knowledge of Non-Conformance Management (NCM) measures and Price Management tools (PMM) will be a great benefit to you as you execute the process, including investigation and reporting.
Successfully demonstrating your excellent verbal and written communication skills and engaging in a team environment, you will manage import orders direct-to-customer and collaborate with local and global colleagues to provide streamlined communication on order status.
Demonstrating your strong problem-solving ability, you will understand and enforce stated business rules and raise awareness to situations where a resolution requires cross functional coordination.Additionally, you will support training, troubleshooting, and offer solutions to customers including the eCommerce order stream.
As a role model, you will participate in the interviewing process for prospective new team members, orientation and training for new hires and act as secondary trainer for new hires and mentoring of peers.
Utilizing your robust analytical and computer skills (specifically MS Word, Excel, and web-based applications), you will complete material availability inquiries and price discrepancy reporting.
