Project Cost Control Support (1805103) – Houston, TX
Primary responsibility for this position involves providing support for all Project Cost Control Accounting Functions within Project Controls.
Principal responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Project Cost Control SAP Requirements:
Generate Purchase Requisitions
Input Service Entries
Project Setup in SAP (Enter WBS Codes)
Update Project Forecast (Adjust SAP Codes)
Run Monthly Project Reporting List (Download Verification check for Cost Managers)
Develop Journal Vouchers
Turnaround Data Entry Assistance (Enter Work Orders, etc)
Project Cost Control Procurement Requirements:
Troubleshoot Invoices (Missing Payments)
Decommital of Purchase Orders
Project Control Invoicing Requirements:
Review and Verify Engineering Contractor Invoices (Rates, Markups, etc)
Review and Verify Service Contractor Invoices (Rates, Markups, etc)
Review and Verify Construction Contractor Invoices (Rates, Markups, etc)
Contact Vendors to confirm final payments and invoices
Maintain vendor commitment, invoice, and closeout log

• High School Diploma or GED
• Min 5 Years’ Experience in Project Cost Accounting
• Excellent SAP Skills: Experience in Accounting, Maintenance, and Purchasing Modules
• Excellent Microsoft Office Skills with focus in Excel
• Highly Organized
• Multi-Task Oriented
• Experience in handling multiple capital projects is a plus
• Experience in Turnarounds is a plus
• Bachelor of Administration or Science is a plus but not required
This position requires all candidates to either currently possess or obtain and maintain a TWIC (Transportation Worker Identification Credential) Card from the U. S. Department of Homeland Security.
