Where the Chemistry Happens…

The Marketing Manager is responsible for regional marketing activities for the mining solutions business, covering industries including, but not limited to, coatings, thermal paper, plastics and rubber, and wire and cable.

This role will collaborate with sales, technical and business management, channel partners, customers, and marketing communication to create and capture prospects and support customers at every stage of the buying cycle, from initial inquiry, to product sampling, to post-sales support.

Formula for Success: You Will…

  • Collaborate with sales, channel partners, and customers to collect voice of customer (VOC) insights and using them to drive our product innovation pipeline and tailor brand messaging.

  • Lead cross-functional teams through the product launch process from launch strategy through to launch review/debrief.

  • Partner with commercial team, channel partners, and global segments to create marketing content for customers at various stages of the buying cycle (e.g., brochures, drip campaigns).

  • Manage development, implementation, and institutionalization of commercial excellence initiatives

  • Interact with key decision-makers at all levels, both internally and externally.

  • Lead and influence others by taking risks, driving change, and building trust.

  • Use entrepreneurial drive to identify gaps within the business and take the initiative to improve them.

Ingredients for Success: What We Look for in You…

  • Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in Marketing, Business, Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, or a related discipline.

  • A diverse 5 years of commercial experience across at least two or more of the following: marketing, sales, new business development, technical service, or related commercial roles in a customer-focused environment.

  • Demonstrated technical comprehension.

  • Experience working directly with customers to maintain existing business and develop new business.

  • Marketing acumen, problem-solving capability, initiative, and creativity.

  • Experience working in a global business environment.

  • Strong interpersonal, organizational, negotiating, and teamwork skills.

  • Commitment to achieve business goals relative to portfolio profitability, growth, and costs.

  • Ability to effectively influence others and work in multi-functional and diverse teams.

  • Excellent planning, organizing, and work management skills to effectively prioritize activities.

  • Relevant technical experience related to mining markets.

  • Ability to develop USP’s

  • Travel up to 35% of the time.
