Precious Metals Resource Manager (2001687) – Huntsville, AL

Where the Chemistry Happens…

We are seeking a professional like you to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for leading large and complex continuous improvement projects using Lean and Six Sigma methodology to achieve the site's annual PGM inventory and loss targets. You will be responsible for the monitoring and reporting of monthly results to site and global leadership of CCE. The Huntsville Catalyst Operations will process over $1 billion in precious metals (PGM) in the production of emission catalyst products

Formula for Success: You Will…

  • Leveraging your expertise, you will further development and stabilization of slurry mass balance valuation processes in Huntsville. This includes driving the formalization of slurry MB in HD slurry operations.

  • Your solid problem-solving skills will be essential as you support maximization of slurry drying processes – CD Dryer, Votator.

  • Demonstrating your knowledge of project management, you will be responsible for all PGM related topics (Project COAT initiatives, PM Lease savings, slurry recycle, etc.)

  • Utilizing your strong technical skills, you will be responsible for the overview of process engineering parameters, recording and evaluation of measurement data, as well as the introduction of derived process improvements

  • Successfully engaging within the organization, you will collaborate and plan with supporting departments and other sites for optimization of production facilities and productivity increases

  • Your dedication to quality management will be evident as you ensure the required PGM related product quality in the area of production including training of employees (HLPs)

  • Utilizing your interpersonal skills, you will collaborate with global CCE sites related to best practices specific to PGM management

  • Driving the business, you will lead the site to meet CCE “Golden Rules” related to PGM processes
