Wherethe Chemistry Happens

We are seeking a professional like you to be responsible for all technical support for the Automotive Catalyst Manufacturing process. Your main focus will be to ensure new product launches are successful in coating. The PPAP (Initial Production event) requires significant focus and learnings from them will then be applied throughout production to improve productivity and quality, meeting the requirements and goals of the site. Additionally, you will support operations in day-to-day production troubleshooting as needed. You will lead efforts to optimize coating process after PPAP’s, scrap reduction, slurry rheology and other Process Improvement Projects.

Formulafor Success

  • Leveragingyour educational background in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, or arelated field and your professional experience in Process Engineering at aChemical/Manufacturing site, you will own the New Product Launch process.This will include lead creation of all necessary documentation for new product launches

  • Demonstratingyour robust analytical skills, you will collectand analyze various coating data.

  • Drivingstrategic decisions for the business, you will support operationson departmental Key Performance Indicators.

  • Yourdedication to continuous improvement will be evident as you manage specialprojects related to safety, productivity, 5S, lean manufacturing, visualmanagement.

  • Yoursolid problem-solving skills will be essential as you troubleshoot andsupport production issues at coating operations.

  • Utilizingyour strong technical skills, you will conduct productiontrial runs.
