Business Development Manager (1801865) – Iselin, NJ
Where the Chemistry Happens
We are seeking a professional like you to manage global business development activities with the Clean Air Group in the Catalyst Division. This role will be responsible for executing the go-to-market sales plan for the aircraft ozone removal business. You will be responsible for developing and closing new business opportunities for Aftermarket and Maintenance/Repair/Overhaul (MRO) services to various segments of the aerospace industry, including airlines, and major repair shops. The preferred location for this position would be Iselin, NJ, however, the team would consider applicants based in Miami, FL, or another remote/home office location near key customers or companies for this business.
Formula for Success
Driving strategic decisions for the business, you will identify and assess new, attractive aftermarket and Maintenance/Repair/Overhaul (MRO) opportunities aligned with the Clean Air Group’s business growth goals. Opportunities include direct business with major airlines and MRO shops.
Successfully engaging with new and existing accounts, you will promote the Clean Air Group’s value proposition and business models while assessing the effectiveness of the marketing message. In addition, you will represent BASF at relevant industry tradeshows and conferences.
Leveraging your entrepreneurial spirit with your demonstrated ability to achieve growth, you will align internal processes to enable business growth in the Aerospace Aftermarket/MRO segment, as well as manage and grow key airline, distributor, and MRO accounts to increase business and accountability.
Your educational background in an Engineering or related technical field, as well as your professional experience working in or selling to the aerospace or aircraft repair industry will be a valued asset as you identify adjacent aerospace applications for Clean Air’s Indoor Air Quality technologies and developing market entry strategies into the adjacencies.
