Global Product Manager – Precious Metal Recycling (2002988) – Iselin, NJ

Where the Chemistry Happens

Precious metals are critical raw materials in manufacturing fresh catalysts. The two main sources of precious metals are from mines and recycling. CCM/R offers refining or transformational services, taking precious metal from scrapped, end-of-life products (catalytic converters withdrawn from automobiles, spent catalyst beds used in chemical manufacturing) and converting this metal back to a standard, purity grade, such that it can then be traded and/or flow directly back into new production – contributing to the circular economy. We are seeking a professional like you who will be responsible and accountable for the Global Product Management activities of recycling precious metal. We apply an agile approach to focus on driving business profit optimization and profitable revenue growth to improve our EBIT bottom line. Our operations and customers are of global focus (e.g. North America, Europe, South-east Asia, and Australia).

You will be responsible for the P&L of assigned product groups. Success is measured by P&L bottom line, effective business management of the assigned product lines, and implementation of a profitable actions in line with our global strategy.

Formula for Success

· Demonstrating your business savvy, you will be responsible for Margin management of the assigned Autocat and Chemcat product line globally and coordinate on strategic growth projects, which span across divisions and functional groups.

· Utilizing your knowledge of the market and your understanding of the value of the products, you will have ownership of pricing, customer bids, and the overall pricing process.

· As a champion of change and simplification, you will initiate activities to reduce systems’ costs, including supporting overall supply chain and manufacturing optimization.

· Leveraging your education and previous product management (or other commercial) experience combined with your knowledge of the chemical industry, you will develop global strategy of the product portfolio by market segments and feed types, including strategies for retention, growth, and profit optimization.

· Relying on your ability to communicate with all levels and various teams inside a complex organization, you will collaborate with the Commercial team to deliver profitable growth for targeted products.

· Your robust analytical ability will be key as you analyze business performance and make recommendations on actions needed in market segments.

· Utilizing your ability to comfortably make decisions based on facts and information, you will monitor the competitive landscape and drive the implementation of marketing & commercial digitalization initiatives, which includes working with external and internal consultants.
