Where the Chemistry Happens…
Trainee must be trained and certified to make batches (batchmaking), trained and certified to perform at least one other production related job function. The three job functions are batch making packaging and warehousing. Job responsibilities include training and certification and are provided in the training records at the plant.

Shipping Duties
Work with hazardous material(s) in a safe manner
Pull orders and place in the appropriate staging area, prepare for shipment
Inspect bins for presence of proper labeling
Inspect bins for damage
Container appearance requirements (free residue) compliance
Conduct inspection of all container seals or opening(s) (i.e. sealed, proper torque)
Place appropriate labels on containers
Recognize and report discrepancies between PO and shipping paperwork
Read sales order(s) for special instruction(s)
Read and follow shipping orders
Affix packing list and MSDS in proper location on container
Locate materials in staging area
Load/unload materials from trucks without spilling or damaging material
Follow proper placarding requirements
Assist drivers with verification of the shipping documentation. Load cirder onto truck and verify the placement to prevent shifting during transportation
Obtain shipper and trucker signatures on the BOL
Assist loading/unloading trucks. Verify pallet inspection. Recognize and correct damaged materials/containers
Follow proper location of nonconforming material protocol
Follow proper sample collection and shipment protocol
Receiving Duties
Ensure trucks are parked/chocked prior to unloading
Determine trailer safety/ security prior to entry
Recognize/report discrepancies in purchase order and shipping documents
Recognize and correct mislabeled/unmarked containers
Verify lot numbers on containers against paperwork
Move incoming material to appropriate area
Label inbound materials properly
Unload returns/damaged goods
Complete returned/damaged goods documentation
Interface with SAP Warehouse Management
Implements SHE goals and objectives of the facility

High School Diploma
Certified Fork Lift Experience preferred
