RESPONSIBILITIES
Within the globally operating Digital farming business, we strive for data-driven business steering from controlling, procurement and finance.
As Controlling and Business Services Head, you and your team are responsible for monthly and annual reporting on the digital farming business in all countries and regions, as well as preparing comments and presentations on all financial matters.
You drive the conceptual development of Digital Farming's internal reporting and accounting systems.
Furthermore, you conduct systematic and ad-hoc analyses of the most important sales and cost drivers (digital product and country view) and present conclusions, proposals for actions or countermeasures to the Gloabal Digital Farming Core Leadership Team.
In your new position, you carry out the annual budget processes for all countries and regions (business plan, cost items, fixed costs, FTE, turnover development) and draw conclusions for the AP Executive Leadership Team.
You ensure efficient and legally compliant procurement processes and prepare annual financial statements for BASF Digital Farming GmbH.
In addition, you are a member of the Global Digital Farming Core Leadership Team and representative of Digital Farming in the Global Controlling Leadership Team of Agricultural Solutions, where you act as a point of contact for all regional and country controllers to ensure a consistent approach to DF.
QUALIFICATIONS
university degree in business administration or similar subject areas
at least 5 years of work experience with initial leadership experience
expert knowledge in controlling and reporting
analytical thinking skills and a systematic approach to identifying and correcting errors
very good communication skills in German and English
