What you can expect

Our unit Applied Sustainability works on supporting sustainable growth and developing sustainability solutions within our global business units Animal Nutrition & Aroma Ingredients, Human Nutrition, Pharma Solutions and Enzymes. Our team is looking forward to your support from now on for 6 months. You will have the opportunity to either work in Lampertheim or from home.

  • You will receive customers' requests on sustainability and organize the reply according to the BASF guidelines and contacting key global BASF experts across different units to provide inputs.

  • Additionally, you will conduct market research in the field of sustainability and update existing sustainability market assessments, covering topics such as carbon footprint, biodegradability, palm oil and renewable feedstock.

  • You will provide management support for the implementation of global sustainable Palm Oil certification.

  • Furthermore, you will critically analyze the current customers' requests process, propose improvements and ideally create a systematic approach.

What we expect

  • mandatory internship (according to study regulations)

  • ongoing bachelor's or master's degree

  • experienced in standard IT applications, especially in PowerPoint and Excel

  • excellent analytical skills to solve problems by yourself

  • strong communication skills and able to perform all tasks in fluent English

  • proven interest for sustainability related topics and business-oriented
