What you can expect
Within our unit Digital Farming you will be responsible for infrastructure architecture, components, concepts and their implementation, thus helping us to grow our business by innovating techniques and processes.
You will orchestrate, configure and secure cloud infrastructure components and automate the cloud infrastructure setup, further capturing, structuring and analyzing the requirements of the Digital Farming business operations.
Besides this, you will ensure the correct translation of business requirements into technical equirements.
You will define the conception and implementation steps to ensure a smooth technical realization of Digital Farming by applying established methodology.
You will be involved in all phases of the product development life cycle including requirements gathering and analysis, design, build, test, deployment and extended hypercare.
You will work closely with product engineers, agronomists and technology teams on one side, as well as with solution software developers and solution architects of the hosting provider.
What we expect
You hold a degree in computer sciences, natural sciences, engineering, mathematics or a related field, best-case with good business understanding and scientific and/or GIS background and/or expertise in agronomic data layers.
You have already gained a minimum of two years experience in cloud architectures, implementations and operations as well as in web application architectures with a deep knowledge in cloud-based hosting architectures (Amazon Web Services).
In parallel, you could gather working experience in automation technologies, ideally with terraform and cloud formation, Puppet and "infrastructure as a code" concepts.
You are familiar with windows and linux based systems, with a good working knowledge in Security Architectures, Java Web Application Architectures and web services technologies in multi-tier architectures.
You have already worked within the fields of serverless Architecture (Lambda Function).
You possess excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to work in a diverse and global team.
