Where the Chemistry Happens…

Design, implement and execute the Regional M&S plan per crop in line with the total M&S strategy to maximize profitability per crop. Collaborate with the Head of M&S of the Region and the Country Sales Managers to align the actions in the Operational marketing plan per crop and the Business plan per region/ country and to organize the support of crop teams to regions and vice-versa. Lead the North America High Tech Sales Team. Direct responsibility for 5 largest Key Customers in Canada.

Formula for Success: You Will…

  • Design execute and monitor the sales plan per crop (set up per customer, area, crop) as well as adapt it and communicate these adaptations within the organization (stock, production) in line with the M&S strategy in order to maximize crop profitability.

  • Manage and develop the Sales Specialists and Account Managers by coaching them in the job and in behavior and by executing the processes of Performance and Merit reviews, Development Dialogue, POC input etc.

  • Responsible for sales forecasting per crop in region.

  • Directly responsible for the sales to the top 5 Key Customers High Tech in North America.

  • Create strong account teams and steer the teams in realizing the sales target per customer.

  • Execute claim handling in line with the Global M&S policy in order to handle claims in an effective and efficient way and make sure that eventual corrective actions are taken. Support and recommend to Marketing about commercial assortment and pricing decisions.

  • Collaborate with the Head of M&S Crop Cluster in the definition of the global strategy for the crop and the preparation of the Global Tactical Marketing Plan of the crop as a basis for the Operational Regional Marketing Plans per crop.

  • Support the marketing specialist in the design and then implement and execute the Regional Operational Marketing Plan for the three crops.

Ingredients for Success: What We Look for in You…

  • Bachelor/Master in horticulture or related

  • 5-7 years of experience in sales;

  • Experience in leading teams

  • Strong leadership & communication skills;

  • Skills in agronomy, business and marketing

  • Willing to travel domestically and internationally;

  • Strong interpersonal skills, a good social versatility and inclusive mindset
