Quality Management Associate (2201521) - Lethbridge

Where the Chemistry Happens…

As the Quality Management Associate, you will work with the Quality team to ensure samples and results are managed in a timely and accurate manner. This will include working with different groups such as seed production and processing to gather information and report on progress.

Formula for Success: You Will…

  • Support quality department in tracking and entering seed samples and results in various databases at different points in the testing lifecycle of seed lots. May require movement of samples weighing up to 15 kg.

  • Work with production and processing facilities to ensure accurate sample submission, assist with sample shipments and tracking, and communicate results as needed.

  • Oversee submissions to attain crop certification for certified seed lots.

  • Support continuous improvement activities within the QMS and QC environment.

  • Assist in ordering sample supplies for all facilities as needed.

  • Other duties as required.

  • Experience in quality, agriculture or related field

  • Seeds industry experience an asset

  • Ability to learn new digital systems and software quickly

  • Able to manage time and resources effectively

  • Methodical and detail oriented

  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written

  • Ability to work well both independently and in a team
