Where the Chemistry Happens…

Our Certified Seed Production Team is looking for positive and energetic Seed Production Associates to join its team for a 4 month Summer Term starting in May to Aug 2019. Application Deadline : November 18, 2018.

As a Seed Production Associate , you are required to travel within your assigned region and manage your schedule to ensure completion of individual and team goals.

Formula for Success: You Will…

  • Work with growers within your assigned regions in the production of hybrid seed canola for market.

  • Involved in all aspects of seed production from seeding to harvest including:

  • Monitoring the health of the crop as it matures

  • Scout fields for weed, disease, and insect pressure

  • Directly involved in maintaining relations

  • Providing agronomic advice in relation to certified seed production under the recommendation of the Production Agronomist.

Ingredients for Success: What We Look for in You…

  • Agronomic knowledge attained through pursuing your degree in Agriculture or through another college coupled with experience in the Agriculture industry.

  • Attention to detail in delivering results.

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
