Maintenance and Reliability Manager- Louisville, KY
We are looking for a Maintenance and Reliability Manger to oversee and provide direction to the maintenance team, focused on optimization of equipment maintenance and technical and operational activities at our Louisville, KY site. This role will oversee the continuous improvement in process and asset reliability through the detection and elimination of defects.
Duties:
Responsible for the Safe, Efficient and Effective management and Leadership to oversee and provide direction to the maintenance team, focused on optimization of equipment maintenance and technical and operational activities.
Develops engineering solutions to repetitive failures and all other problems that adversely affect plant operations.
Troubleshooting, root cause failure analysis, general computer skills, work planning and estimating, and use of maintenance computer management systems (SAP)
Develop work plans for turnarounds and work outages to ensure equipment issues are resolved for the next plant run duration and supporting those outages.
Works with Project Engineering to ensure the reliability and maintainability of new and modified installations. Participates in the development of design and installation specifications along with commissioning plans. Develops acceptance tests and inspection criteria.
Monitors MPI KPIs to improve the maintenance process and other SAP reports. Also responsible for maintaining data in SAP to document daily maintenance activities.
Ingredients for Success: What We Look For in You…
Education :
B.S. Degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Chemical Engineering
Experience:
5 years of maintenance and/or reliability experience in a chemical manufacturing environment
Union environment knowledge and labor contract administration preferred.
Knowledge/Skills:
Significant knowledge of mechanical and instrumented equipment and their maintenance
Must have technical competencies of troubleshooting, root cause failure analysis, general computer skills, work planning and estimating, and user knowledge of maintenance computer management systems (SAP).
Demonstrated leadership skills, tact, and the ability to communicate effectively and build strong relationships with individuals at all levels of the organization.
Requires familiarity and experience with predictive and preventative maintenance programs, work processes (MPI), mechanical integrity, and inspection processes and best practices. Knowledge of API standards a plus.
