What you can expect

We, the E-power management team of BASF New Business, are selling and developing materials for fuelcell and hydrogen applications.

  • You are responsible for the business build-up of our fuel cell and hydrogen solutions product line.

  • With your technical and strategically expertise you will set goals based on industry trends in this emerging energy sector.

  • Furthermore, you will then foster the established products, guide and support the R&D teams in the product development and set-up the product launch and commercialization of the new products.

  • Overall, you are responsible for the P&L, controlling of the R&D pipeline and the product line strategy including the preparation of investment decisions.

What we expect

  • PhD in material science, engineering, or chemistry

  • professional experience in the field of technology development, business buildup or technical/commercial marketing

  • experience in leading interdisciplinary teams in a technical or commercial environment with entrepreneurial drive as well as proven record of successfully conducted product launches

  • high level of analytical and strategic thinking as well as excellent communication skills in both English and German

  • ability of completing successfully even controversial issues together with your partners and hold course in situations of uncertainty
