What you can expect
Our Global Active Ingredients Technology unit optimizes technologies for the processes, systems and equipment used to produce active ingredients within the Crop Protection division worldwide.
You will develop and implement production strategies for crop protection active ingredients and their intermediate products while considering product quality, safety and environmental guidelines and the needs of the market.
You will primarily be responsible for our sites in Europe. You will spend approximately 30% of your time traveling.
In addition, you will plan process optimization and capacity expansion activities to ensure the global supply of active ingredients and to reduce production costs.
In cooperation with other units, such as Supply Chain Management, Production, Regulatory and Marketing, you will be responsible for global technical management and will perform benchmark analyses.
You will initiate global research and development work within your area and drive this work forward up until implementation.
What we expect
You have years of experience in research and development, production, process management or technology management.
The basis for this is your degree in chemistry or chemical engineering.
In addition, you have project experience and a highly developed technical understanding.
Ideally, you have already held two different positions, including in an international setting, and have additionally been able to amass management experience.
You are able to further develop a diverse team on an ongoing basis and promote team spirit and lead by example when sustainable solutions are called for.
