What you can expect
We operate an electrical network with a connected load of 750 MW at the site. Our unit power supply and IT infrastructure provide our production plants with reliable electrical energy. We are looking for candidates to join our team and work on network control technology.
You will manage an IT security management system (ISMS), taking general and binding industry-specific security standards into account and will ensure the operation there of on a sustainable basis.
Furthermore, you will also implement the German Federal Office for Information Security (BSI) KRITIS Regulation for industrial networks.
You will plan and implement technical protection mechanisms and will introduce the necessary security standards in the case of industrial communication interfaces.
Moreover, you will monitor and support the planning of plant changes as well as expansions in the network control system, including its peripheral systems - such as switches, servers, modems and telecontrol systems, among others - in conceptual terms.
Last but not least, you will support internal and external audits for IT security standards.
What we expect
You have solid knowledge of IT systems, networks as well as in-depth knowledge and skills relating to the fundamental information security standards, such as BSI Grundschutz and ISO 27001.
The basis for this is your studies of computer science, electrical engineering, telecommunications engineering or automation technology.
Ideally, you have certification such as CISA or CISM or have the ambition and dedication to obtain it. Subject-specific knowledge relating to energy supply or energy plant and systems technology is a plus.
You actively participate in your team and enjoy working toward shared goals and communicate in both German and English.
Furthermore, you are able to take an analytical approach to even complex matters and to present it in an understandable way in conceptual terms.
