What you can expect
Our unit offers solid subject specific expertise and services for investment projects of the BASF Group companies. Our services include cost estimates, project controlling, scheduling, quality management and supporting projects in the process of approval by the commission.
In your role as the head of the quality team, you will be responsible for quality management for investment projects in plant engineering and for lessons learned management.
Besides, you will be responsible for managing your team in subject specific and disciplinary terms as well as working closely with other units.
Furthermore, you are the point of contact for Group companies and will make a valuable contribution to the continuous improvement of the processes and methods involved with an eye on sharing best practices.
Beyond that, you will support the engineering project teams and specific bodies in the case of inquiries and requirements.
Last but not least, you will drive the development of platforms and networks for the further development of quality management for large scale projects forward.
What we expect
You hold an degree in engineering or natural sciences as well as gained professional experience in a production plant.
As a result, you have experience in project management, specifically in handling projects in plant engineering through to completion.
Your ability to identify and depict complex matters allows you to adopt the viewpoints of others and work successfully with various stakeholders.
Moreover, you communicate authentically in German and English as well as enjoy contributing within the team in order to achieve goals.
