The European Site & Verbund Management is continuously developing BASF's large European sites, thereby ensuring their competitiveness: We manage the perfect integration of infrastructure, operating services and logistics with production at each site. What you can expect

Our Real Estate Portfolio & Data Management unit is responsible for safeguarding in Ludwigshafen in terms of property and planning law in the long term.

  • In this position, you will work on various tasks in the field of geographic information systems (GIS).

  • You will plan as well as execute projects and ensure that they are implemented on time and budget.

  • In addition, you will further develop as well as refine the tools for GIS and will work with the GIS application modules.

  • You will check the quality of internal as well as external contractors and be the contact person.

  • Moreover, you will keep the agreements on quality, safety, health, environment and innovation in mind at all times.

What we expect

  • You have a degree in geoinformatics or a comparable technical study program with a focus on geographic information / computer science.

  • You are familiar with geographic information systems and ideally have planned and executed GIS projects.

  • You have excellent knowledge and skills in working with databases, ideally with ORACLE. In addition, you are familiar with the standard CAD systems, e.g. the Bentley Systems products.

  • Beyond that, you identify the needs and requirements of your customers as well as partners and always act in the company's interests.

  • Your open and empathetic communication style makes it easier for you to deal smoothly with both colleagues and customers in German and ideally in English.

  • You enjoy working as part of a team in order to reach goals together.
