What you can expect

Our unit Sourcing and Contract Manufacturing is responsible for the sourcing of major raw materials and the major parts of contract manufacturing activities for the Nutrition & Health division. The work location is Lampertheim.

  • As a Global Packaging Specialist you are responsible for the transparency, risk management and optimization of the entire global packaging portfolio of the Nutrition & Health division.

  • You will identify options for the optimal packaging of products based on material-technical as well as regulatory requirements and support their implementation.

  • As a project manager for the implementation of measures for the further development of our packaging portfolio, you will consolidate all relevant information and define project plans, schedules and key milestones.

  • You will increase our customer satisfaction by implementing innovative packaging solutions, advising on packaging issues and effectively handling packaging-related complaints.

  • In addition, you will continuously build a solid packaging know-how for Nutrition & Health by continuously expanding the network of BASF internal experts, suppliers and customers.

What we expect

  • master's degree or a diploma in chemistry, engineering or a technical field and several years of working experience

  • technical and regulatory knowledge in the areas of packaging materials especially for the pharmaceutical industry

  • experience in project management as well as in purchasing processes and procurement

  • experienced with MS Office

  • strong communication skills in English

  • strong teamwork and interaction skills in a diverse organizational environment
