What you can expect
For our unit Industry Advocacy & Environmental Policy we are looking for you, starting as of January 2019, at the earliest. We monitor and accompanie important customer industries, environmental trends and legislative initiatives for BASF.
You will work on legal issues regarding autonomous driving with the goal of developing corporate strategy around risks and identify opportunities.
To this end, you will research, grasp, analyze and evaluate the topic with an eye to the timelines involved in the legislative processes.
In addition, you will support us in analyzing overall political and social conditions.
Beyond that, you will prepare internal BASF communication materials (Q&A, presentations and similar) with a focus on regulations of autonomous driving.
What we expect
You are a student currently enrolled in a program in business and economics, humanities or natural sciences or a similar discipline and have the wish to demonstrate your knowledge, which is also reflected in your good grades, in practice as well.
You are interested in the intersection of legislative processes and technological innovations and ideally have prior knowledge in the field of autonomous driving.
Good German and English language skills help you to present yourself as a strong communicator.
Your high level of motivation and your team-oriented working style complete your profile.
