What you can expect
As a laboratory manager in the area of active ingredient research, you will support our Herbicides Chemistry team in the identification and development of highly effective, innovative chemical crop
protection products.
In this function, you will prepare the research results obtained in a clear manner and present them in an appropriate form.
In addition, you will closely follow current market trends, evaluate them in terms of their relevance for BASF and make appropriate recommendations for new applications.
You will demonstrate your commitment in international and interdisciplinary teams and will be responsible for the projects to be worked on.
In addition, the maintenance of networks with scientific partners is part of your field of activity.
What we expect
above average PhD in chemistry
in-depth knowledge in organic chemical synthesis
knowledge about medicinal chemistry, human or animal physiology is beneficial
experience with the common analysis and test methods as well as with the general processes in the research laboratory
very good IT user knowledge
good command of English
ability to work in a team, to successfully achieve global goals
